The open house is free and the lights run from 5pm-10:30pm on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The street has been decorated for over 35 years. Wakefield Winter Wonderland has also helped support local charities. In the past, the lights helped the community after local tragedies. They also brightened the community during the global pandemic.
The street is open during the day, but is best viewed at night. It is located off Copperhill Drive and Courtland Way. It is a double cul-de-sac with 41 decorated houses. It is one of the most festive Christmas lights displays in Los Angeles County.
The lights are 360 degrees and are illuminated from both the inside and outside. The neighborhood has a friendly, festive atmosphere that makes this a fun place to spend the holiday season. The neighborhood also hosts street parties.
Valencia Northbridge
During the holiday season, the Santa Clarita area boasts many fantastic displays, with some of the most impressive being in and around the master-planned community of Valencia Northbridge. Not all neighborhoods in the city have the same amount of lights, and most stay on until the new year. This community has over twenty different neighborhoods and is located above Newhall Ranch Road and overlooks Bridgeport Lake. The lights are impressive to say the least, and should be on your list of things to do when you are visiting the area.
The display is a bit more elaborate than what is shown in the picture. The lighted display features thousands of lights. Some neighborhoods have created their own unique structures, while others are content to let the lights do the heavy lifting.
The lighted display is located near Grandview and Hathaway in Valencia Northbridge. It is a high-tech display of holiday lights. The Christmas lights are on from 5pm to 12am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They have been a staple of the community for years.
Santa Clarita Valley
Thousands of people flock to Santa Clarita for its beautiful Christmas light displays. Some neighborhoods put on elaborate light displays, while others create themes for entire blocks. Some displays feature cartoon characters and flying reindeer. Most lights stay up until New Year’s.
Wakefield Court in Santa Clarita is known for its elaborate displays and is nicknamed “Candy Cane Lane” due to the colorful lights wrapped around the streets. The displays are located near Haskell Canyon Road and Copper Hill Drive.
Wakefield Court was opened after the 1994 NorthRidge Earthquake. Currently, there are 41 houses on the street decorated with holiday lights. The lights are available to view by foot or by car.
The Wakefield Winter Wonderland has been a beacon of hope during local tragedies. In addition, the lights have also aided in bringing the global pandemic to light. During the holidays, the lights are illuminated from 5:30-10:30pm.
Homestead Holiday in Homestead, Texas is a holiday light display. The twins Troy and Cheyenne, who are the owners of the display, donate money to the local fire station. The twins also give away candy canes to visitors.
