On National Signing Day in 2009, Manti Te’o committed to play for Notre Dame. He went on to become the first linebacker in school history to earn a college national title.

But his success came at a cost. The Notre Dame star’s story became the subject of mean-spirited jokes, racial slurs, and a grubby undertow of homophobia.

Born on January 26, 1991 in Laie, Hawaii, brieanne te’o is a famous American football player who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Notre Dame and is known for his achievements on the field.

Throughout his high school career, Te’o had an impressive academic record. He also volunteered at the Shriners Hospital and Head Start program.

He attended Punahou School, a co-ed private high school located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was one of the highest-recruited athletes in the state and received offers from over 30 different colleges.

During his senior year, he led Punahou to its first-ever state championship. He finished his high school career with 129 tackles, including 11 sacks, three fumbles forced, four passes tipped and 19 quarterback hurries. He was also named the inaugural Butkus Award winner in the state of Hawaii, a prize given to the best prep linebacker in America.

Father: Brian Te’o

Brian Te’o is the father of Manti Te’o, a former college football player who was drafted by the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints in 2013. He also played for the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears.

He is an avid fan of his son’s football career and travels to most of his games. They have a strong relationship and are very close.

As a father, he has always been very proud of his children. He hopes that they can be successful in life and that they have a happy future.

Te’o is a very caring person and he is aware that life is short. He is constantly thinking about how he can help those around him. He also believes that it is important to respect your elders.

Mother: Ottilia Te’o

Manti Te’o was born on January 26, 1991, to his mother Ottilia Te’o and father Brian Te’o in Laie, Hawaii. He grew up in Laie with his five siblings, including Tiare, BrieAnne, Eden and Maya Te’o.

He attended Punahou School, a private coed school in Honolulu. As a sophomore, he was named to the second-team all-state roster and received numerous accolades.

Aside from football, he also volunteered at the Shriners Hospital, Head Start preschool program, Hawai’I Food Bank and Special Olympics.

He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He went on to play in the NFL for several seasons.

Siblings: Tiare Te’o

Tiare Te’o was born on January 26, 1991 in Laie, Hawaii to Otilia and Brian Te’o. She has a younger sister, Alyssa Te’o.

As a high school student, she was on the list of top recruits in both the state and national rankings. She helped Punahou lead their first state championship and was named the National Defensive Player of the Year by USA Today in 2008.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she is active in her ward. She frequently attends church services with her family and often invites nonmembers to worship with her.

Personal Life

During her high school career, brieanne te’o was a star linebacker at Punahou. She had 129 tackles, 11 sacks and helped the team to win their first state championship.

Te’o, who was born in Laie, Hawaii, has five siblings. Her parents are Brian and Ottilia Te’o.

She was a college football player at Notre Dame, where she played from 2010 to 2012. She was an All-American and a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2012.
